This isn't practical...

That's what I keep hearing from people. I am graduating in May and Kevin in August, so our October wedding "isn't practical." No one knows this better than Kevin and I. Our love isn't practical, we met at a bar. Our relationship hasn't been practical, we were long distance for 8 months, starting 2 weeks after first meeting. So why should our timing of the wedding be any different?

For the people who think that our wedding time isn't ideal, it's okay. We will figure it out. I graduate 6 months before we get married, do I move home to plan the wedding and save money or do I start my career in a city that may not be the same as where Kevin gets a job and sign a lease, when in October we may have two leases?  Neither idea is practical, our timing isn't practical. We are living outside of the box.

A wise man once said, "Everyone who lives dies, but not everyone who dies has lived." Well Kevin and I are living for sure.. and it might be the hard way, but we will figure it out. We might stumble, fall, crawl, and scratch our way out of our "unpracticality," but we will do it together.
